Dr. Emma Fraser

Dr. Emma Fraser

Emma Fraser, OD is a licensed optometrist originally from the San Francisco Bay Area. Although a California native, she has proudly called Boston home for over 10 years. After receiving her bachelor’s degree in Biology at Boston University, with a minor in Public Health, she later earned her doctorate from the New England College of Optometry.

Before starting at Wink, Dr. Fraser completed her optometric training in a diverse range of clinical settings, including work within the VA system, private practices, and multiple community health centers in Boston. These experiences served to hone her clinical skills in the areas of primary care, ocular disease, contact lenses, and pediatrics.

Dr. Fraser’s dedication to the profession of optometry is evident in her patient-centered approach to eye care. She places a strong emphasis on communication and education, with the goal that every patient leaves their exam with a clear understanding of their eye health and vision. She enjoys staying current on the newest technologies, and tailors each visit to best suit the visual needs of her patients. In this increasingly digital world, Dr. Fraser is particularly passionate about the treatment and management of dry eye syndrome, asthenopia (eyestrain), and ocular surface disease.

Dr. Fraser is a member of the Massachusetts Society of Optometrists and the American Optometric Association. When not in the office, she enjoys traveling, reading, attending concerts, and spending time with her two beloved Husky mixes. She looks forward to providing you with quality eye care and is thrilled to be joining the team at Wink.
